Plastering is finished and plumbing will be next, after that paint, flooring and tile. The toilets arrived today and the paint is coming.

The rooms have great airflow and stay cool throughout the day because we are planting on the roof.

We have a graywater treatment tank with submerged vegetative beds in our constructed wetlands habitat for the reuse of our water resources.

Our outdoor school area needs a permanent home and we will be building rooms on the lower part of the property.

We started terracing the lower lot and will build as funds become available. The viewplan is looking east on the lower part of the property.

The loader put in terraces and an irrigation canal. We will have a water catchment and treatment center for our laundry and shower water.

The twins yuck it up for the camera. They have been matched and are preparing for bonding with their permanent adoptive parents. First they need an appointment with homeland security. We are waiting for the Priority Date.

Hya gets a missionary visitor and some extra attention. She is doing real well and gaining weight with the formula, she can drink his share! She was hospitalized last month because she is premature and prone to some illnesses.

Lots of building going on in the playroom. We enjoy all the washable developmental play toys for the toddlers and babies. We had a care package arrive that was greatly needed. We thank the Lord for those who like helping us care for these children.

Jesse arrived healthy and happy. We named him after one of the prayer partners of Aloha House. We hope little Jesse grows up to be as kind and helpful as big Jesse.

A close up of Jesse shows how good he is at sleeping. The hand mitts are a local custom here for newborns. Babies in the tropics are well covered to protect them from flying insects and other problems. Before we know it, Jesse will be wearing garden gloves, ski mitts or driving gloves, living in some far away land with his permanent adoptive parents.

The new line up of infants in the morning sun. They are are growing well, they seem quite content. We have new staff we are training, as the new rooms are filling up.

The fire Marshal gave us a training course on fire safety. It is now part of the annual Mayor's Permit process.

We installed fire alarms and added fire extinguishers on the second floor as well as emergency signs and evacuation routes.
